Thunderbird - forwarded messages
Having followed the instructions about adding tick boxes to my Account to allow signatures to appear in replies and forwarded messages the signatures do not appear after ensuring these tick boxes are ticked.

Tools>Account settings, directly above the tick mark settings for signature. There are two settings to review. One setting is where to place your reply and the other is where to place the signature. If you prefer to reply on top (as I do), set reply for 'above the quote' and the other to 'below my reply'. I'm glad we resolved this.

It is important also to specify where the signature is to appear. It might be above the forwarded message or at the bottom. Same applies to a replied email. The default is at the bottom, where it may appear 'lost'.
David - You are genius! It is sitting at the end of all the messages. Is there a way to stop this and to get it to appear where it should
