Why do I have to sign up for Comcast to use this on Android?

I installed this on my LG3 and opened FF browser, all I could get was a requirement to sign up for Comcast/Xfinity. The whole program is locked without this process. Didn't read that requirement when you sent the link to me. I wouldn't ever get Comcast for anything. So what is the deal with this? Have been using FF on my desktop for years on desktop and laptop. Very Disappointing. So I had to uninstall it.

That doesn't make sense if you aren't connecting through a Comcast hotspot...

Did you install Firefox using the Play app? If you want to use Firefox for Android, I would go that way, since Play will keep Firefox up-to-date.

You do not need a phone service to use Android Firefox on a Android phone or tablet as you can connect with say wifi.

I entered through the app link sent to me by Firefox. I don't have anything related to Comcast, they are horrible. I have ATT Uverse wireless at home, but every time I opened app it would just bring me to a screen to sign up for Comcast/Xfinity before the browser would open. There was no option for anything else. I can get on default browser with no problem. I use Firefox on my pc's. But cannot on the Android apparently.
