I have upgraded my Firefox to version 146 and I have a disruptive color of active bookmark in left sidebar. How could I change this color into moderate one - dark grey.

For the last two days, I have been ubable to access settings (X,). When I click the settings cog in th toolbar, thr toolbar grays out. I have also tried to access settings using the Hamburger Menu, clicking on settings, with the same result. I have clicked on Firefox in the menu tab, same result.

I have closed and restarted Firefox, with the same result.

Additionally, I can only close Firefox by force quitting. I don't know if the two are connected.

I am so frustrated and disappointed with the current direction that Mozilla is talking with Firefox and AI Integration. I have used Firefox for years and have financially supported Mozilla in the past. For the time being, I am sticking with Firefox because the Al integrations can currently be turned off. I believe these options should be opt-in NOT opt -out. I feel loyal and dedicated to Mozilla's valves of privacy and a free-internet. But I will not think twice about jumping ship to another browser if Mozilla continues on this path of full-throated support and opt-out AI integration into Firefox. And I refuse to continue my financial support of the Mozilla foundation while this is the current direction of Mozilla leadership. I sincerely hope leadership will take the feedback of the community seriously and alter the current direction for the browser.

I have been using Firefox for years and years. The only reason I still use it now is that I am currently able to disable the AI features. I do not want AI in my web browser. I heard that the new CEO wanted to integrate MORE AI into Firefox and I am against this direction! I will probably not fund Firefox development again if they do this. I do not require a reply to this thread and will probably ignore replies. If I become aware of a better way to express my opinion to the CEO, I will also do that.

I just moved to a new Windows 11 PC from my Windows 10 PC. I backed up my Firefox profile and put it on a portable drive. I loaded Firefox on the new PC and then found the folder where the profiles are. I added the profile folder from the backup. Firefox has not found it and there is no way I've been able to discern to search for it.

I added the anti-virus after trying to set up Firefox.

Here are the particulars: Firefox version 146.0.1 (64-bit) Windows 11 Application Binary: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe Profile folder: C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxx.default-release

How can I remove all my saved passwords from Firefox Sync? On my desktop, I went to Menu > Passwords > Three Dots > Remove all passwords, and they're gone. However, on my mobile phone, they're still there. So the sync functionality is borked. The question is, are the passwords still on Mozilla servers, or is just the sync to my mobile buggy?

Even if I were to delete my FF Sync account, for good measure I'd like to manually delete all passwords from it first though.

I can use edge and my speed tests perfect on speed test. If I use Firefox the upstream is half. I only have block installed but doesn't matter if I disable or not.

All of my bookmarks disappeared. I have followed all the step to restore from the profile folder and to restore manually. It works to a point, then I get an error message saying Firefox is unable to process the backup file (see attached image). I even tried it in Troubleshooting mode.

if Mozilla continues on its path of adding new AI features into Firefox, i am going to switch browsers. I stopped using chrome, i can stop using Firefox too. Nobody using Firefox needs more AI features. Nobody using Firefox needs a "modern AI browser", as there's already about 10 browsers filled to the brim with AI slopware. this is an extremely disappointing turn for Mozilla to take and I'm hoping they realize their mistakes before it's too late.

The title bar, etc. is this really obnoxious blue and I'd like to change it to something else. I can't find the answer to this anywhere, except for "try themes," except those don't work either. I imagine there's a setting in about:config.

I do not need or want AI. The vast majority of firefox users, many of whom transferred to get away from AI, would agree. What for, anyway? To name tab groups? How is that worth spiking the use of my CPU and power? I switched to firefox *years* ago for one reason: it runs much better than chrome and it was committed to privacy and such. I know there are options to turn off these and the other AI features but with the CEO's desire to make firefox a "modern AI browser" I fear it will only get worse. How long will it stay optional? I might as well leave now and get used to waterfox, before firefox becomes utterly enshittified and unusable.

Firefox is already running old Firefox must be closed. I have tried everything in the help menu. delete parent.lock , restarting etc. nothing is working. I can create new profile but i cant find any toolbar, bookmarks etc please help

I'm using a macbook pro, running OS 14.6.1. Firefox is my default browser.

For quite some time now, whenvever I'm attempting to make an online purchase, once my payment information is entered, it just hangs, and either takes as much as 10 minutes for the purchase to go through, or it never goes through, it just keeps spinning. This is the case regardless of what website I'm ordering from, and regardless of what credit card i use.

When I switch browsers to Chrome (which i prefer not to do), it all works seamlessly and immediately.

My Firefox browser is up to date. My OS is a little out of date, deliberately, because of many reports that the current update can actually slow things down. But in spite of this, I have no trouble with anything except trying to make a purchase.
